"Тhe Language of Fashion" kolekcija, kurator Linda Fargo!
Tradicionalno, Fashion Week u New York-u uvek donese neke nove trendove i neizbežna iznenađenja.
Jedno od tih iznenađenja je bila premijera kolekcije “The Language of Fashion” (Jezik mode), koju su kreirali studenti Njujorškog fakulteta School of Visual Arts, BFA Department, koji već 50 godina vodi legendarni šef katedre Richard Wilde.
SVA Idejna rešenja
Projekat basic typograpy koji je zaživeo kao fashion kolekcija!
Kolekciju “The Language of Fashion” koja se sastoji od 22 originalane kreacije su dizajnirali mladi kreativci, kojima je ovo bio zapravo prvi susret sa modom na profesionalnom nivou.
Sve je počelo kada je profesor Olga Mezhibovskaya dala zadatak studentima druge godine grafičkog dizjana, da koristeči samo tipografski grid osmisle originalna rešenja za do tada neviđene fashion kreacije. Ona ih je inspirisala da slova i slovne znake i pisanu komunikaciju prevedu u jezik mode.
SVA Dizajn proces
Od ukupno 200 rešenja, Linda Fargo i žiri koji su činili čuveni svetski modni kreatori su izabrali 22, koja su zatim profesionlano proizvedena u večernje toalete.

Pored originlanih ideja i pristupa modnom dizajnu, ono što čini "The Language of Fashion" jedinstvenim projekom je činjenica da je ovo prvi nastup ikada studenata jedne škole na New York Fashion Week-u.

Modne revija je održana u srcu Menhetna, dok su duž Madison avenije postavljene skulpture izrađene u obliku kreacija iz kolekcije "The Language of Fashion".

A šta ja mislim o "The Language of Fashion"? Bilo je fantastično iskustvo i izazov složiti u uzbudljivu smisaonu celinu ukupno 10 sati video materijala u 20 minutni dokumentarni film, koji dočarava ne samo proces stvranja, već i uzbuđenje mladih kreativaca koji su radili na ovom projektu.
